Faith at North Park
North Park is the university of the Evangelical Covenant Church. Founded in 1891 by Swedish Christian immigrants, it continues to embody Covenant values and affirmations. Accordingly, we foster respectful discussion and engagement among people of all beliefs.
Here, students encounter different Christian traditions and study in a diverse environment. At North Park University, all students are welcome, regardless of their faith convictions. Because we learn more together than we do apart.
North Park Heritage
Founded as a community of life and learning where great intellects are warmed by great hearts, and great hearts are enlightened by great intellects.
Christian Higher Education
North Park is a collaborative learning community that fosters humble, sincere, and open dialogue. Our professors are as much mentors as they are experts in their fields, while intimate class sizes and intentional meeting spaces encourage deep dialogue. Whether they’re studying theology or biology, our students are equipped for the workforce and to lead a meaningful life in service to God and others.
